Question: What should I look for in a sublimation printer?
Answer: Hi, for a sublimation printer you want to make sure you look for one that was created to be a sublimation printer. When converting a printer, that print head is not designed to handle sublimation ink. The printer might work for a while but overtime it will clog the print head. We recommend a Sawgrass SG500 if you plan to use the printer occasionally and/or do not plan on sublimating onto larger substrates. For volume sublimation we recommend the Epson F570. The F570 allows you to print to both sheets or rolls and is 24in wide.
