The Roland BN-20 and BN-20A are both desktop eco-solvent printers, but the primary difference lies in their ink configurations. The BN-20 can use both CMYK and white or metallic ink, while the BN-20A is a more cost-effective model that supports only the CMYK ink configuration, omitting the option for white or metallic inks. Most customer opt for the BN-20A due most media having a white backing. In addition, the metallic and white inks are more prone to clogging the print head and requires more frequent maintenance of the printer.
