Hi, the standard needle size for the Brother PE800 and Brother PE900 is 11. In addition depending on the material you may need an alternative size: 90/14 ball point needles: Ideal for stretch fabrics to prevent skipped stitches. Size 75/11 needles: Suitable for embroidery. Size 90/14 to 100/16 needles: Recommended for transparent nylon thread.
