Why is the 5+ $100 more than 5? Seems a bit much for just 2 1/2 inches.

Even though the Cameo 5 Plus is 15" inch width vs 12" inch width of the standard Cameo 5, there is a cost difference to the manufacturer to create the wider machine. It would require thicker parts, alternate molds, and larger packaging to help support the wider frame of the Plus.
