These printers are refurbished, meaning that the were opened and ink was installed. They are confirmed to be in working order. The partial ink refers to the amount of ink left in the machine. This amount varies as it depends on the usage of the printer. We do recommend purchasing a full set of ink to have on hand for replacing the initial cartridges.
