Hi, the max embroidery size for the Brother SE700 is 4" x 4". If you want the dual function sewing and embroidery machine that can up to 5" x 7" we recommend the Brother SE2000. The Brother SE2000 is Brother's best selling dual function embroidery machine. Brother also offers an embroidery only model the Brother PE900 5" x 7"
