Using the correct mat types, the proper blade, and the adjustable settings in Silhouette Studio, the Cameo 5 can cut through a wide variety of materials. The Cameo 5 has a 3mm height clearance, and is not limited to just vinyl or HTV. It can cut sticker paper, card stock, fabric, stencil material, shrink wrap plastic, thin craft foam, leather, washi sheets, and more.
