While the Roland White Static Cling would adhere to the hard hat surface, it is not a permanent material as it is designed to allow the decals to be repositioned. If you are looking for the decals to be more long lasting, I would recommend looking at Roland or Oracal's permanent adhesive vinyl. They do not require laminate (it would only increase the longevity). There are several styles with different thicknesses and durability. Please review the collection here.
