Can I cut mylar with either Siser machine? If yes, will I have to use the mat or can I cut matless?

The Siser Juliet 12 in vinyl cutter is more than capable of cutting any mylar materials under 1mm. To keep the mylar secure, we recommend using mat to prevent any shifting during the cut. We recommend performing a couple small test cuts to measure the force, blade depth, and speed required for mylar. The cut settings are fully adjustable with both the 45 Degree and 60 Degree blades on the Juliet itself, and with Leonardo Studio.
